I am looking for a post-doctoral position in May 2015 !



Currently a PhD student (Defense in February 2015), I am interested in the pathophysiological consequences of our diet and especially the involvement of diet in cancer. The key for me is to find ways to prevent this risk, for example, seeking early biomarkers predictive of risk.

Meat intake is associated with increased risk of colorectal cancer. The aim of my thesis is to find new methods to produce meat that result in safer products to reduce, in the long term, colorectal cancer incidence. The products are tested on two carcinogenesis animal models: chemical-induced rats and Apc(Min) mice and also in healthy volunteers. My thesis also seeks to determine whether microbiota and inflammation play a role in the promoting effect of meat.
